SHIELD Christian Academy is a faith-based educational program of Life Fellowship Church of the Nazarene in Deltona, Florida. Founded on the belief that every child is created with purpose and potential, SHIELD provides structured, in-person academic instruction rooted in Scripture, academic excellence, and whole-child development.

Coursework includes mathematics, science, literature, creative arts, and theology—all taught through a biblical worldview and grounded in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition.

SHIELD stands for Safeguarding · Honoring · Instructing · Equipping · Leading · Discipling—and that mission shapes everything we do. We believe education goes beyond textbooks; it happens when students are known, valued, and challenged to grow spiritually, academically, and personally.

At the heart of SHIELD Christian Academy is a commitment to equipping students to stand firm in their faith. We intentionally teach and model what it means to put on the full armor of God—developing truth, righteousness, faith, and the Word of God as daily foundations for life.
